Difference B/w Supervisors and Site Engineers:


*.Site engineer will calculate the quantity of shuttering plywood required to cast the slab.
*.Supervisor will make sure the carpenters are on the job and deliver the required quantity of shuttering plywood to the site at the earliest.
*.Site engineer will instruct the supervisor to check the alignment of shuttering.
*.Supervisor makes sure the alignment is fine.
*.Site engineer will calculate the quantity of steel bars required to place in the slab along with the dimensions and shapes.
*.Supervisor will make sure the bar benders are on the job and deliver the required quantity of shuttering plywood to the site at the earliest.
*.Site engineer will instruct the supervisor regarding the placement of bars in the structural member.
*.Supervisor makes sure all the steel bars are placed as per the instructions of Site engineer.
*.While placing concrete,site engineer instructs supervisor how to allocate the manpower to get maximum productivity
.*.Supervisor makes sure the manpower is allocated at the required location as per the instructions of site engineer.

To sum up, Supervisors assist site engineers to maximize the productivity of work.With some experience in the site (may be few years), supervisors can become site engineers.
